Why would God—eternal, holy, untouchable—choose this?

Choose bread. Choose wine. Choose to be broken.

Choose to be eaten.

Because love goes all the way.

🔥 Why the Eucharist?

Because God didn’t just want to save you from afar.

He wanted to unite Himself to you—completely.

Not just spiritually.

Bodily. Intimately. Daily.

He didn’t say:

“Here is my teaching. Obey it.”

He said:

“Here is myself. Take and eat.”

💔 Why this?

Because sin broke our union with God through a bodily act—taking and eating the forbidden fruit.

So Love came to heal it through a new act of taking and eating—but now, the Fruit is God Himself, giving life, not death.

Where Eve stretched out her hand to disobey,

you now stretch out your hand to receive Christ,

and everything is reversed.

💡 Why this?

Because Christ is not content to be admired from a distance.

He wants to be in you. To live in you.

To be the source of your strength, joy, hope, healing, and fire.

“He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.” (John 6:56)

He doesn’t just want followers.

He wants union.

🌿 Why bread?

Because it is ordinary. Poor. Universal.

Anyone, anywhere, can come to the altar—

and receive the King of Glory disguised as food for the hungry.

Because this is who God is:

Not high and far, but low and near.

Not demanding, but giving.

Not a tyrant, but a Lover.

✨ Why this?

Because you were made not just to believe in God—

but to be filled with Him.

Only the Eucharist could make that possible.

Only Jesus could have thought of it.

Only Love could have chosen it.
