If you’re looking for God—or even just a better life—this is where you have to start:

God is the Most High.

Not just powerful. Not just kind.

He is the Best. The Greatest. The Highest.

Beyond belief. Beyond imagination.

So good, so beautiful, so powerful—it takes your breath away.

More Than We Can Grasp

God isn’t just a slightly better version of us.

He is the source of all greatness.

We’re made in His image, yes.

But next to Him, we are like little children—fragile, small, full of wonder and need.

And yet, He is not cold or distant.

He is glory and fire and stillness and gentleness.

He is everything we long for and more than we could ever imagine.

A Saint Who Saw Him Clearly

Many people have tried to describe God.

But few have ever done it with the purity and joy of St. Francis of Assisi.

Francis didn’t try to explain God. He just stood in awe—and praised.

His words are like lightning strikes of truth, one after another, filled with wonder and love:

You are holy, Lord, the only God,

and Your deeds are wonderful.

You are strong.

You are great.

You are the Most High.

You are Almighty.

You, Holy Father, are King of heaven and earth.

You are Three and One, Lord God, all Good.

You are Good, all Good, supreme Good,

Lord God, living and true.

You are love. You are wisdom.

You are humility. You are endurance.

You are rest. You are peace.

You are joy and gladness.

You are justice and moderation.

You are all our riches, and You suffice for us.

You are beauty.

You are gentleness.

You are our protector.

You are our guardian and defender.

You are our courage. You are our haven and our hope.

You are our faith, our great consolation.

You are our eternal life, Great and Wonderful Lord,

God Almighty, Merciful Savior.

— St. Francis of Assisi

Let That Be Enough

This isn’t a lesson. It’s not a lecture.

It’s a moment to step back in awe.

To remember that God is God.

Not small. Not tame. Not limited.

But Most High—and beyond all we could dream.

Let His greatness sink in. Let it move you. Let it fill your heart with wonder.

Then simply say:

You are the Most High.

You are Good.

You suffice for us.
