I know where to lay my head;

On your loving heart, my Jesus.

I have a mother who loves me;

You my sweet mother, Mary.

I have a Father in heaven;

He is the creator of all things,

From whose bosom mercy pours.

I have an ocean of dear friends;

My radiant saints in heaven.

I have a beautiful guardian and guide;

My beloved angle.

Society has a solution; to turn to Your cross.

My family can turn to Your cross.

My friends and neighbors can turn to Your cross.

I lay my burdens at the foot of Your cross—

Where they belongs.

In You, am free.

In You, I am safe.

In You, I am loved.

In You, I have eternal life.

In You, I have peace.

Surrendered at your feet,

I am shielded, sheltered, secure,

And I experience real joy for the first time.

I am wrapped in your peace.

I am ash.

I am dust.

I am nothing.

But you love me,

And that is the greatest, the highest, the peak.
