A Map of Global Power Blocs

Power does not announce itself. It does not hold press conferences or issue manifestos. It operates through networks, institutions, and relationships that are rarely visible to those they govern. The map below is an attempt to name what is actually operating in the world — not the theater of electoral politics, but the underlying architecture of influence that persists regardless of who wins elections.

This is not a conspiracy theory. It is pattern recognition applied to documented history. The blocs named here are not secret cabals with unified agendas. They are competing networks of interest, each with its own vision of the future, its own financial base, and its own tools of leverage. They cooperate when interests align and war with each other when they do not.

Here are the blocs we will unpack:

• Financial and Banking Bloc

• Tech Oligarch Bloc

• Chinese Civilizational Bloc

• Intelligence Community Bloc

• Old Money Bloc

• Military Industrial Complex Bloc

• Western Globalist / Progressive Bloc

• Russian Civilizational Bloc

• Western Nationalist / Traditionalist Bloc

• Indian Civilizational Bloc

• Pharmaceutical and Medical Bloc

• Islamic Civilizational Bloc

• Vatican Institutional Bloc

• African Resource Bloc

• Radical Political Islam

• Narco-State and Cartel Bloc

• Freemasonic / Rosicrucian Bloc

The most important observation comes at the end, and it is worth holding in mind as you read: several names appear in multiple blocs. Those bridge figures are always the most powerful and the most worth watching. A man who operates inside two competing systems is not confused. He is positioned.

The blocs are ordered from most to least powerful in terms of their current structural leverage over global outcomes. Read this not as a finished map but as a working one — the terrain shifts, alliances form and dissolve, and some actors listed here will be neutralized or elevated before this decade ends.

1. Financial and Banking Bloc

Money is not downstream of power. Money is power. Whoever controls the creation, allocation, and movement of capital controls the real operating system of civilization. Every other bloc on this list depends on this one.

· Larry Fink (BlackRock)$10T+ asset management, corporate governance globalism

· Agustín CarstensBIS, central bank of central banks

· Christine LagardeECB, former IMF

· Jamie DimonJPMorgan, most powerful traditional banker

· David Shawquantitative finance, intelligence adjacent

2. Tech Oligarch Bloc

Technology is the new infrastructure of civilization — and whoever controls the infrastructure controls the civilization. This bloc has accumulated more leverage over daily human life in thirty years than any empire did in centuries. They own the pipes, the platforms, the processors, and increasingly the intelligence.

· Jeff Bezoscloud, media, logistics, space

· Sundar PichaiGoogle, search and AI infrastructure

· Sam AltmanOpenAI, AI as civilizational tool

· Jensen HuangNvidia, controls AI hardware chokepoint

· Peter Thielalso here via Palantir surveillance infrastructure

3. Chinese Civilizational Bloc

China is not merely a nation-state pursuing national interests. It is a civilization with a 5,000-year memory and a specific goal: restore China to the center of the world order by 2049. The Chinese bloc is the most coherent and patient actor on this list. They think in decades. Their competitors think in quarters.

· Xi Jinpingcivilizational restoration, 2049 dominance goal

· Wang Huningchief ideologist

· Jack Maneutralized wildcard

· Ren ZhengfeiHuawei, tech infrastructure as geopolitical tool

· Li Ka-shingHong Kong old money, bridges East and West

4. Intelligence Community Bloc

The intelligence community is the nervous system of the state — and it operates with nearly complete opacity. It does not serve presidents. Presidents serve at its pleasure, are briefed on what it chooses to share, and leave office while the institution continues. It is the most durable power structure in any modern state.

· William BurnsCIA

· Mossad directorcurrently Ronen Bar

· FSB leadership under Putin's direct control

· Five Eyes network leadership collectively

5. Old Money Bloc

Old money does not make headlines. That is the point. The families listed here have been accumulating influence across generations, through wars, revolutions, and ideological upheavals that destroyed the fortunes of everyone around them. Their power is not primarily financial anymore — it is structural, embedded in foundations, think tanks, universities, and the informal networks of the permanent elite.

· Rothschild familypost Jacob, now dispersed

· Rockefeller familyfoundation network

· Wallenberg familySweden, invisible European industrial control

· Black Nobility familiesColonna, Orsini, ancient Roman lineage

6. Military Industrial Complex Bloc

War is not a failure of policy. It is, for the actors listed here, a business model. The military-industrial complex is not a metaphor. It is a specific network of contractors, generals, think tanks, and congressional committees that profits from permanent conflict and has every institutional incentive to ensure that conflict never ends.

· Lockheed, Raytheon, Boeing, Northrop, General Dynamicscontractor financial engine

· Pentagon revolving door generalsinstitutional operators

· Dick Cheneyclearest historical embodiment

· RAND, Atlantic Council, CSISintellectual justification layer

· Armed Services Committee memberscongressional protection

· NATO institutional leadershipinternational extension

7. Western Globalist / Progressive Bloc

This bloc holds a coherent vision: the dissolution of nation-states into a managed global order administered by technocratic institutions. It is not a conspiracy. It is an ideology, openly stated in Davos speeches and World Economic Forum white papers. The only question is whether the people implementing it have been elected by anyone to do so.

· George Sorosopen society, nation-state dissolution

· Bill Gatestechnocratic health and agriculture governance

· Klaus Schwabexplicit Great Reset architecture

· Laurene Powell Jobsquieter, education and media

· Larry Fink (BlackRock)corporate governance globalism

· Mark Zuckerbergdigital infrastructure, increasingly globalist

· Reid Hoffmanliberal tech network, narrative funding

8. Russian Civilizational Bloc

Russia under Putin is not primarily a geopolitical actor. It is a civilizational actor — explicitly anti-liberal, Orthodox Christian in framing, Eurasianist in vision. Whether the Christian framing is sincere or instrumental is a fair question. What is not in question is that Russia has positioned itself as the last major power willing to openly name the Western liberal order as an adversary.

· Vladimir Putincivilizational actor, Christian tradition framing

· Patriarch KirillOrthodox spiritual legitimacy

· Aleksandr DuginEurasianist ideologist

· Sergei Lavrovdiplomatic face, career operator

· Roman Abramovicholigarch class, now partially independent

9. Western Nationalist / Traditionalist Bloc

This is the newest major power bloc — assembled in the last decade, still finding its coherence, but representing a genuine civilizational counter-movement against the globalist consensus. Its internal tensions are real: between genuine populism and elite capture, between Christian civilizational vision and nationalist self-interest, between America First and Zionist foreign policy commitments.

· Rupert Murdochmedia, Anglo-American conservatism

· Peter Thieltechno-nationalism, anti-globalist

· Miriam AdelsonZionist nationalist funding

· Elon Muskwildcard, anti-globalist instincts

· Benjamin NetanyahuIsraeli nationalist, neoconservative network

· Donald TrumpAmerican nationalist, populist figurehead

· Viktor OrbánEuropean nationalist, explicitly Christian democratic

10. Indian Civilizational Bloc

India is the sleeping giant of the 21st century power map. It has the population, the ancient civilizational identity, and increasingly the economic base to become a primary actor. Modi's Hindu nationalist project is not a fringe movement — it is a civilizational restoration bid with genuine mass support, comparable in ambition to what Xi is attempting in China.

· Narendra ModiHindu nationalist civilizational project

· Mukesh Ambaniindustrial and media infrastructure

· Gautam Adaniinfrastructure, ports, energy, deeply Modi aligned

· RSS leadershipthe ideological backbone behind Modi, older and deeper than any individual

11. Pharmaceutical and Medical Bloc

The pandemic revealed what had been building for decades: a medical-pharmaceutical complex with the power to reshape global behavior, override national sovereignty, and capture international institutions. The emergency is over. The infrastructure remains.

· Bill Gatesalso here via WHO and GAVI dependency

· Albert BourlaPfizer

· Tedros AdhanomWHO Director General, Gates funded

· Tony Faucirecently retired but structurally significant legacy

12. Islamic Civilizational Bloc

Islam is not a monolith, and the actors listed here are as likely to war with each other as with anyone else. Sunni vs. Shia, nationalist vs. Islamist, modernizing vs. traditional — the fissures run deep. But as a civilizational force, Islam represents a billion-plus people with a coherent sacred cosmos, a resistance to liberal modernity, and actors willing to wield both hard and soft power in its name.

· Mohammed bin SalmanSaudi modernizing nationalist

· Recep Erdoganneo-Ottoman Sunni leadership bid

· Ayatollah KhameneiShia revolutionary Islam

· Al-Thani familyQatar, Brotherhood funding, Al Jazeera

· Ismail Haniyeh's successor networkHamas political leadership

13. Vatican Institutional Bloc

The Vatican is the oldest continuous institution in Western civilization and the only one whose claims extend beyond the temporal order entirely. Its power is not military or financial in the primary sense — it is moral and spiritual, which means it can shape the interior life of a billion people when it chooses to exercise that power clearly. The current moment is one of significant internal conflict over which direction that power will be exercised.

· Pope Francisaccommodation with China, progressive theological agenda

· Cardinal Pietro ParolinVatican Secretary of State, diplomatic operator

· Vatican Bank leadershiphistorically connected to financial networks

· Traditional wingCardinals Burke, Sarah, representing resistance within

14. African Resource Bloc

Africa is the most resource-rich continent on earth and has been the most systematically extracted. That extraction is now contested — by African leaders with genuine nationalist ambitions, by Chinese Belt and Road operations, and by a rising generation of Africans who understand what has been taken. The African resource bloc is less coherent than others on this list, but it is becoming more so.

· Aliko DangoteNigeria, richest African, industrial infrastructure

· Cyril RamaphosaSouth Africa, resource diplomacy

· Paul KagameRwanda, most strategically capable African leader

· CCP proxiesBelt and Road operatives across continent

15. Radical Political Islam

Distinct from the Islamic civilizational bloc above, this network operates outside state structures and is not interested in managing the existing order. Its goal is replacement. Its tools are ideological infiltration, institutional capture, and violence held in reserve. It is the most asymmetric power on this list — small in resources, significant in reach.

· Muslim Brotherhood networkinstitutional infiltration strategy

· CAIR leadershipAmerican political arm

· Various Hamas and Hezbollah political leadership

· Salafi-jihadi ideological networksAl-Qaeda intellectual legacy

16. Narco-State and Cartel Bloc

Cartel power is not peripheral to global power. It is deeply embedded in it — in banking systems that launder the money, in political systems that look away, in law enforcement that is captured or outgunned. The cartel bloc is the clearest example of what happens when a state loses its monopoly on violence and organized crime fills the vacuum.

· Ismael Zambada (El Mayo)Sinaloa cartel leadership

· CJNG leadership under Nemesio Oseguera

· Nicolás MaduroVenezuela as narco-state actor

· Tren de Aragua leadershipnew model criminal-state hybrid

17. Freemasonic / Rosicrucian Bloc

This bloc is different from the others. It is not primarily active in the present tense — it is the philosophical ancestry of the modern order. The hidden architects of the American founding built their vision into the symbolic and institutional DNA of a civilization that now spans the globe. To understand where the modern liberal order came from, you have to understand where they were pointing.

· Francis Baconearly visionary of America as Masonic utopian project

· Bartholemew Gosnoldsecret society connected Jamestown organizer

· Benjamin FranklinFreemason, Enlightenment deist framework

· George WashingtonFreemason, Masonic ritual at Capitol cornerstone

· Thomas JeffersonEnlightenment deist, philosophically aligned

· Adam WeishauptBavarian Illuminati founder, infiltrated Masonic lodges

· Albert PikeScottish Rite philosopher, wrote Morals and Dogma

· Skull and Bones networkYale elite brotherhood, Bush family, CIA directors

· Bohemian Grove membershipmodern American elite ritual continuation

The Most Important Observation

Several names appear in multiple blocs — Thiel, Gates, Fink, and others bridge categories. Those bridge figures are always the most powerful and most worth watching. A man who funds nationalist movements and sits on globalist boards simultaneously is not confused about his loyalties. He has leveraged himself above the conflict.

What To Do With This

Maps like this one can produce two reactions. The first is paralysis — a sense that the world is so thoroughly managed by forces beyond reach that nothing an ordinary person does matters. The second is clarity — a sober recognition of what is actually happening that frees you from the naive optimism that makes people easy to manipulate.

The second reaction is the right one.

The blocs above are real, powerful, and consequential. They are also mortal, fallible, internally conflicted, and operating on the same fallen human nature that has driven every empire in history toward its eventual collapse. Power concentrated always disperses. Networks built on interest fracture when interests diverge. The 20th century alone saw the collapse of the British Empire, the Soviet Union, and the Maoist project in China — none of which looked fragile from the inside.

Understanding who holds power is not the same as being held by that knowledge. The goal is to see clearly, act faithfully, and refuse to be governed by either naivety or despair. The world has always been run by networks of self-interest.

The saints and the martyrs and the ordinary faithful have always lived inside that world and built something that outlasted every empire that tried to crush them.

Read the map. Then put it down and go live your life with your eyes open.
